Happy Easter!
It's been a busy week...we woke up to snow on Katie's birthday. (Of course - the weather is always crazy for Katie!) We had fun that day, went to Toys R'Us and spent a couple of hours. (at least...I'm pretty sure Katie tried out every single tricycle in the store.) Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese. (NOT a fun place, don't go there! Don't let your children learn of its existence!!!) Then because it was such a special day, we had ice cream for supper. (Maggie Moo's, on the other hand, is a wonderful place, which I highly recommend!) Yesterday, we had the big egg hunt at church and being the wonderful people they are, the egg-hiders took pity on us parents of toddlers and hid their eggs inside, instead of out in the soupy mess that the ground had become from all the rain. Today, of course, Katie woke up to find her special basket and was pretty excited by that. She loved the pinwheel flower and has played with it a lot. We hid eggs for her and her cousins too and they had fun hunting them. Since Katie's cousins are all older than her, they were sweet and let her find a lot of them.
Finally, we got a picture of Josiah, Cassie, Seth, Kayli, Brianna and Katie. I can't believe my nieces and nephews are all so grown up!
Hope all of you have had a great day!
