We had a GREAT weekend!
We spent the weekend with our cousins, Bill and Lacey and their little boy, Kenner. Katie had so much fun playing with Kenner. He's a good cousin! We got to go out on the boat on Saturday. Katie really enjoyed it, except when we put her in the water. She was NOT happy about that. The water was pretty cold though. But as long as we were cruising, she was snoozing. We hit heavy rain and tried to get out of it. Katie and I hunkered down in the floor of the boat with a towel over us and she was out.
Today, I got to enjoy my much-anticipated birthday present. Donnie and Katie took me to the mall and sent me shopping. I, for one, had a BALL! They were both so patient and just let me enjoy it. I am one happy girl. (Don't care if I did just turn 30, I'm still a girl!) Katie was so good all weekend. We are so proud of her. She never got grumpy and just went with the flow. That bodes well for our vacation in a couple of weeks!
