Here are some pictures from our little trip to the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee last weekend. Our friends Mike and Dawn and their kiddos, Jess and Corey came down for a visit and we all trekked over to Lynchburg. (that is a LONG drive!) It was really interesting. We figured Katie would sleep really good on the way home, just from the fumes!
The first picture is Katie hitching a ride on her Daddy's shoulders. She got a bird's eye view that way. The second picture is inside the barrel house. There are thousands of barrels of whiskey aging there. The third pic is one of the stills. In the fourth, we are walking by the Grain Mill. Thanks to Mike for taking a pic with all of us in it...except him. Why didn't we think to get someone to take one of all of us? The last one is the Cave Spring. This is where the water comes from that they use to make every bottle of Jack Daniel's Whiskey. It must have been 40 degrees cooler at the entrance to that cave than it was anywhere else that day.
