Oooooh weeeeee! Look at this beauty! :-) Katie was having a good time tonight, showing off how well she sits up now and that she can hold her bottle. She was having a little "naked time," due to a horrible diaper rash. The antibiotic she's on has a bad side effect of diarrhea and her poor bottom looks awful, and I'm sure, feels worse. We were airing her out, so to speak. Other than the rash though, Katie is doing much better. She got a good report at the doctor yesterday - her lungs sounded clear so we were able to decrease the breathing treatments and will slowly wean her off of them. The fluid in her ears also looked better. It was still there, but it was clear, so the antibiotic (in spite of its evil side effects) seems to be working. We were relieved. Hopefully we'll start sleeping again now.
Donnie's been sick today, not sure what's going on with him, but hopefully it's just a 24 hour thing and he'll be much better tomorrow. He had a hard time not getting to snuggle Katie today!
