Soooo.....wow. Busy, crazy, surreal times for the Hammons'! WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! Now that's just crazy!
Katie loves pink. And yellow. So, of course, she got herself her very own, colorful, happy, girly, predominantly pink and yellow bedroom. (which Mommy had a ball thinking up and Daddy worked hard to get ready.) When she saw it for the first time, she stayed in her bed for the longest time, just enjoying it. :-)
One thing I learned through all of this, is that she is MUCH smarter than me. She wanted to paint so badly, so, thinking I was so smart, I told her she could start on the inside of her closet. That lasted about 2 minutes until she said, "Katie want to paint in the big room." Yeah, didn't fool her! Then she got bored and decided to watch tv until Mommy cooperated. :-D
The first picture, Katie wrote those numbers all by herself. (Ok, traced them...but still!) Now, I know I've never done this before and all, but I think that's pretty darn good for a 3 and a half year old!
