Katie's so much fun these days! I've said that with every stage though...and meant it!

I've thought a lot this week about this time of year, especially on Thursday, which was the 17th.

2 years ago on April 17th, I held Katie for the first time. She was 10 days old. :-)

1 year ago on April 17th, Katie was admitted to the hospital for a bad viral infection that had settled into her lungs. (on the 19th - today - she was moved to Children's Hospital.) It's interesting how time works. out.

We did have some excitement around here last night though. Katie used the potty for the first time! She's been getting more and more aware lately, but last night, she did it. And first thing this morning, she tried to let me know she needed to go, but I was a bit slow on the uptake. I caught on a bit too late, but that's ok. She's well on her way.
