Hi! I can't believe it's been a week since we posted last. I'm sure I'm in trouble for that with someone. Katie's great! She's been thinking really hard about crawling, but so far she hadn't seen anything worth the effort. This morning she crawled for a toy - I don't think she realized she was doing it. Between scooting and crawling, she's been all over the living room this morning. Then she decided to go try to pull up on the entertainment center. (We're watching Veggie Tales!) She's been playing and she's starting to learn to play with her shape sorter, although she likes taking them out a lot more than putting them in. She has EIGHT teeth and she is eating everything in sight. No problem with the old appetite. She loves bananas. Oh and her Memaw found out that she really loves Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. Great! :-)

It's starting out to be a busy summer. Grandma and Poppy came for a visit last weekend and so Katie got some extra spoiling...which, of course, she needed desperately. Donnie is working on putting a lift kit on his jeep. I'm sure we'll have some pics later - I had a hard time getting in the thing to start with, now he's gonna have to get me some steps!

Donnie also tested with the Police Department yesterday, written test and physical agility test. Thirty applicants took the test and Donnie is one of the top ten. They will be calling to schedule an interview next week. Katie and I are very proud of him. We'll keep you posted!
