Look out world! Katie's got a tooth! And she is ready for some fried chicken...forget this baby food stuff! Ha ha! It's a milestone day in the Hammons house. I have a nasty cold and had just about decided that Katie had one too. She didn't eat good at all yesterday, which is quite unusual. Then last night, she just didn't sleep. She kept waking up crying. Today we found out why. There's a sharp little white tooth just poking through her gum. (We grown-ups are wimps! I would have been asking for percocet. That just seems like it would be SO painful!)
Katie had a good check up at the apnea clinic - her chest x-ray looked fine and her lungs sounded good. The nurse there said that Katie is the first preemie she's seen who just does not look like a preemie. That's the second nurse this week to make a comment along those lines. They are all amazed at her overall health and development too. We are so blessed to have a wonderful, healthy, joy of a baby and we thank God for her every day!
